How it Works:

After you have chosen one of our 2 packages (your final book must be 108 to 738 pages in length) and signed up for one of those, you'll be guided by an author advocate who know the publishing business best. He will help you choose the best format to send in your book and work out together with you cover designs and all other publishing needs, like barcode and ISBN.

Within 1-2 weeks your book will be finished and you will receive 10 or 20 copies (depending which package you choose!) of your final printed book right to your doorsteps. At this time, your book title goes out to no less than 30.000 retail outlets in USA and Europe, including Amazon, Barnes and Noble etc.

Within a few days time only, your book can be purchased at Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble or it can be ordered by your book title or your ISBN in 30.000 bookstores worldwide.


What happens if someone orders you Book at Amazon:

If someone orders now your book from amazon.com website, you don't have to do anything. The book will automatically, as soon as we receive an order from amazon be printed. Your book will be printed as it will be ordered - meaning we will print this single one order from amazon.com, pack it and ship it to the desired address by UPS. That means that your customer, who has just ordered your book at amazon.com will receive your book within 4-8 business days. We calculate 24 hours maximum for order taking and printing, 24 hours for packing and mailing and the rest of the time depends on UPS, how fast they can deliver to the destination. This entire process is called Print on Demand Technology. You sign up once for our package, send in your manuscript and the rest  
goes automatically. All you do then is to collect royalty payments from us.


What if I need 200 books for my own use, my friends, neighbours and a local book fair?

If you need books for your own use, you can order with us any desired quantity. You get a very big discount when you order books for yourself. Now imagine: You have spent so far only 999$ to have your book printed and distributed. If you would order a large quantity for your own usage, it would still not compare to the costs you have if you have your book printed (10.000 pieces), need storage space for your books and each time someone orders you have to pack it, mail it and bring it to the post office.

Royalty Report & Payment

1st Book Publishing pays authors a royalty of up to 35 % (35%)of all payments actually received for POD titles, less any shipping/handling charges, taxes, and returns. There is no royalty on copies sold to authors. Please consider the table below as an  approximate guide - it was calculated based on a 272-pages book with 5.5" x 8.5" trim size:

Your sales report will be emailed to you on a quarterly basis if sales surpass 10 copies per month. Likewise, your earnings are paid quarterly. We prefer to eBank the money to you or to send by paypal.


Other Packages:

Both ofour packages (Platinum and Gold) include thatyou wll receive 10 respective 20 FREE books together with your initial signup. That eans, once you have placed an order with us and sent in your manuscript, you will receive 20 books (Platinum Package) or 10 books (Gold Package) for Free as soon as they ae prited (approx. 14 days). Should you need help with layouting of your manuscript, then you should opt for the Platinum Package. Our author's advocates are more than happy to do that fr you.
